It all started with a joint vision of the Bashir and Thlma families. After many years in the industry, Telma was bought by the conglomerate Unilever. Under the production of the international company Unilever, Rushdi operated under strict international quality standards using western technology while upkeeping the Arab tradition that lives deep in the heart of the original vision. In 2004, Unilever decides to shift its focus onto its core companies, thus parting ways from the Bashir family. By doing so, Roshdi becomes a private, family run company.
Our company quickly became the primary manufacturer in the Israeli market of products which have since become our specialties: Tahini and Halva.
Today our company, located in the North of Israel, is privately owned by the Bashir Family and has grown into the largest global manufacturer of sesame-made products, true to our vision to spread the magic of sesame all over the world.
